I think I'll give myself the benefit of the doubt and say that I have improved. :) I -did- use to make icons that sucked monkeybutt, you know. :P But.. its just practice. With enough practice anyone could do it. :)
As for the animations, the reason they turned out better than the last ones I made is because I accidentally discovered the method how to make captures properly. (Not with the 'pause' button.) And I was ready to kick myself because it was obviously so simple. >_>

Only, yeah, the animation thing really does take a shitload of time..

I myself like the Ike icons the best at the moment. :) I think it turned out pretty cool with the images of the guitarstrings and the recordplayer. :)

and awww your icons have never sucked monkey butt for as long as i've seen them :P but yeah you're right you have improved. you keep getting better and djfkhskfj :P

as for finding out the easy way to capture the stuff ;) well it happens to everyone.. we all want to kick ourselves at some time :D and ahhaha spending many hours making animated icons, is a yet another way to keep from reading your school books ;)

The ike ones are nice but it pains me to admit that #11 is my fave :-[

Ah, my school books. O_O I know am digging myself a grave here with all this other stuff I so conveniently occupy myself with. And I can already see it coming and biting me in the ass. >_> But the really blah thing is that these things make me happy.. whereas 'French Lieutenant's Woman' does not. Nobody would willingly read that book, I just can't -believe- that anyone would. lol O_O

Rotf the title of that book already scares me away. i pity you for being stuck with crap like that. it's really unfair that not only does your icon making make you happy, it makes the rest of us happy. how can you go agains the masses, no? :P

You know what's slightly shocking? I -really- [intensely] started to read that book now and it turns out that its actually not all that bad.. O.O Certainly better than 'Sons&Lovers'.. :shudder:
And now I'm nearly finished with it. :) Wow. I'm actually shocked, to be honest. :)

Actually, when I start thinking about it then most of the high school books were really good, classics, some of my favorite books. Its just that.. every time I -have- to read something it takes me longer than normally, just because I have to do it, you know. Its like.. I'm counting pages. O.o While at the same time, if I picked up that same book just because I wanted to read it for myself, I would be through it much much faster.
I got a new list of compulsory literature for next year. Amerian literature this time. it looks really good so far. Plus I have this plan to read a whole bunch of books this summer. I'm gonna go to the library, book-hunting, as soon as I can. :)

Oh god, I AM a geek. >.>
